Car Keys Vanished : Stranded in My Own Vehicle
I was/am/had been driving/going/out for a fast trip when it hit/occurred to me/suddenly dawned on me that my keys were missing/gone/vanished. Panic set in/started to creep up/took over as I realized/understood/figured out that I was/am/had been stranded/locked out/trapped inside my own vehicle.
My phone battery was nearly dead, and I didn't have a spare set of keys with me. I looked the car thoroughly for any sign of them, but they were nowhere to be found.
The sun was starting to set/go down/sink and it was getting/had become/turned into dark/night/a creepy twilight. I felt helpless/was overwhelmed/didn't know what to do, sitting there in my car, with no way out.
Help! Trapped By My Own Stupidity - Locked Keys Inside
Well, blast me sideways! I've completely locked myself out. The/My/It was so easy/simple/straightforward to do/make/cause. Now I'm stuck here, with my keys/belongings/stuff inside the house/apartment/car. I feel like a complete moron/idiot/dummy.
What am/have/should I do/say/think now? I tried all/every/any of my usual tactics/tricks/moves, but they've failed/worked/backfired.
House Lockdown : Can't Get In, No Spare Keys
